Terms of use
Draft prepared October 5, 2026
These terms apply to your use of mediamtl.com, including the free website audit, quote estimator and ROI calculator. Client projects are governed by a separate written agreement.
1. Operator
This website is operated by [legal business name and NEQ], [registered business address], doing business as MEDIA MTL.
2. Information on this site
Content is provided for general information. Price ranges, the quote estimator and the ROI calculator give non-binding estimates only; a project price is set only in a written proposal signed by both parties.
Audit scores come from Google PageSpeed Insights (Lighthouse). They vary between runs and devices and are not a prediction of search rankings. No one can guarantee a specific Google position or an indexing date, and we do not.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit content that is unlawful, abusive or that you do not have the right to share.
- Use the audit tool to test websites you are not authorized to evaluate, or to overload any service.
- Attempt to bypass security, rate limits or spam protection, or to access non-public areas of the site.
- Send automated or bulk submissions through our forms.
4. Intellectual property
The site’s design, text, code and graphics belong to MEDIA MTL or its licensors. Project screenshots are shown with the respective clients’ permission and remain their property. [confirm client permissions for portfolio screenshots]
5. Third-party links and services
Links to client websites and third-party services are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the site and its free tools are provided “as is”. MEDIA MTL is not liable for indirect damages arising from their use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Québec consumer protection law. [legal review of this clause required]
7. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
8. Governing law and language
These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. [confirm jurisdiction / district]. These terms are available in French and English; in case of discrepancy, [choose the prevailing version] prevails.
